Richard Nicolas Smiciklas was born June 9, 1963 to Croatian parents Nick and Neda. He attended high school at Stephen Leacock in Scarborough. Rick took many jobs to get by from acting to bartending. He discovered a passion for food and entertainment. Like most people he always dreamed of opening a restaurant. Wild Wing took flight March 17, 1999, the day after his daughter Savannah was born.
